Welcome to TaniDocs, a document scanner and PDF utility developed and operated by Tanibyte ("Tanibyte", "we", "us", or "our").
We respect your privacy and designed TaniDocs around a simple principle: your documents should remain yours. TaniDocs is designed to work locally on your device without requiring an account or uploading your documents to our servers.
Data Processing & Storage
Processing happens on your device
PDF creation, editing, merging, splitting, scanning, image conversion, and rendering are designed to be processed locally.
We do not collect, store, upload, or transmit your PDF files, scanned documents, images, or other document content to our own servers or cloud storage.
Accounts & Registration
TaniDocs does not require you to create an account or sign in to use its core document and PDF features.
You are not required to provide personal identification information such as your name, phone number, or address in order to use the application's local document features.
Device Permissions
TaniDocs may request limited device permissions when a feature requires them. These permissions are used to perform actions you explicitly initiate, such as selecting images, accessing documents, scanning pages, or saving generated files.
Permissions are intended to provide the functionality you request. We do not use them to monitor your personal device activity or inspect unrelated content.
Third-Party Services
TaniDocs is designed to minimize third-party data processing. We do not intentionally integrate advertising networks or analytics systems for the purpose of building a profile about your document activity.
Your device and its operating system may still communicate with platform services such as Google Play or other system-level services. Those services operate under their own privacy policies and are separate from TaniDocs.
Data Retention
Because your documents are processed and stored locally on your device, TaniDocs does not maintain a cloud copy of those files on our servers.
Files created or saved by the application remain subject to the storage and file-management controls of your own device.
